The Hibiscus is one of those flowers that seem to evoke memories for a lot of us. Maybe that is because they are usually found in tropical areas where so many of us go for vacations. I lived in Hawaii for many years and the Hibiscus is Hawaii’s State flower. They come in a wide range of colors and sizes and I am happy to say that creating this lovely flower as a piece of jewelry was a wonderful experience for me. I seldom have lived any place that I didn’t have at least a few of the flowering bushes in my yard. I make these Hibiscus in three sizes, this is my medium size.
