The name Shadow Box refers to the type of frame I have created for this piece. Please take another look at the pictures and you will see that I have made a design that has both a foreground and a background. So much of the jewelry you see these days is so flat that I decided that I wanted to create some pieces that had a third dimension to them. It took a while to come up with something that I was happy with but I believe I have made something that is special. So far I have made six of these different designs and the response has been very good. Many of us have more than a passing interest in lighthouses, I am not to sure what it is about them but they do invoke some rather deep emotions. Being a sailor, I have a great deal of appreciation for the purpose they were created for, but my fondness goes beyond just that. However you feel about them I think you will enjoy this one. I have placed the lighthouse on a small bit of land in the foreground and the sailboat and water in the background. The effect is very noticeable when you see someone wearing the piece. The lighthouse comes with a very nice full cut diamond for its light.

This 14k gold pendant displays very nicely on most all chains up to 3mm. I personally like small wheat or box chains as they tend to hold up well and sparkle from all directions.
