When I think of Penguins the word Noble comes to mind. They just seem to carry themselves in a more regal way than any other animal. The only wild Penguins I have seen were in New Zealand and most of them were in the water not on land. I suppose like most of us our first introduction to Penguins was through Disney or some other animated cartoon. Later on shows like Wild Kingdom I got introduced to the fact that a Penguins life was not all fun and games. No these wondrous little bird have managed to survive under some pretty severe conditions. There tremendous loyalty to their mates and offspring is well recorded.

In order to show off the great contrast in what in nature would be the black and the white marking I chose to high polish the chest of this bird and satin finish the rest of him. I think you will be impressed how this finish helps to bring out the detail and personality this amazing bird.
