I have been making different styles of turtle earrings for probably the last twenty five years and only now have I done a baby sea turtle. I can not believe it took me this long to design a baby turtle, within the first six months after I made these they have become far and away the most popular turtle earring I have ever created. I am fortunate to live in an area where several types of sea turtles come to nest. I often go down to a turtle nesting beach late at night and depending upon the time of year, I will see big turtles come to shore to lay their eggs or at other times witness the little hatchlings come crawling up out of the sand and head for the sea.
