The very first gold whale tail was made on the island of Maui by Noreen Quirk in the late 1970s. Noreen and I have worked together ever since. She is a very talented designer, and I always enjoy producing her jewelry designs. Several companies have made whale tails in the past twenty years, but I think you will agree that ours have more style and grace than any of the "Johnny–come–lately" companies.
